Raised in Alabama yet born to roam, this multi-talented dynamo has been thrilling people of all ages worldwide with her appealing song styles and unmatched acting skills.              Deborah began playing piano and singing in the gospel church from an early age.  With a BA focus on classical Theater and Dance from University of Alabama, she relocated to New York City in 1999 and began a professional career in entertainment.  Bowman soon found herself on stage performing nationwide in Cameron Mackintosh’s first National Tour of Oliver!  Some of Bowman’s stage credits include: Chicago (Velma Kelly), Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Sweeney Todd (Beggar woman), Shout! (Orange Girl) and Evita.  Ms. Bowman can be seen on television portraying the role of Beth DeSilva in Ugly Betty Season IV.  She has appeared in several major motion pictures including, “Julie and Julia” and “Its Complicated” with Meryl Streep, and Oliver Stone’s “Wall Street 2”. Ms. Bowman is a proud member of SAG, AEA, and AFTRA.
          Bowman’s international singing career really took off in 2006 as she began forming her own unique cabaret act that led to the well-received show entitled “A Journey of Love” which she has continued to perform on world cruises.  Bowman premiered the self-produced show with her 7-piece Big Love Band in May of 2008 at The Harlem Stage Theater in New York City.  She recently incorporated Production Company Mama Bama Records with her collaborator, arranger, and Music Director, the great ivory master, Dean Fransen.
